The leisurely or sometimes slow pace of the tour ended up being ideal for finding the perfect photo opportunities and we got some really cool photographs. Our guide was quick to share his knowledge regarding animal identification, local history and vegetation.
Our guide was quirky in a really fun way and extremely knowledgeable. He gave us ample opportunities to capture the moment and on more than one occasion we sat with the engine off, no more than an arm’s length from those peaceful gigantic mammoths, the Addo Elephants. We never felt threatened and the elephant herds never showed sign or indicated that we were infringing on there territory. The tour included lunch, snacks and cooldrinks.
